The Republican Party: Opponents of American Progress

Just because the Republicans are the opponents of the people doesn’t mean that they must oppose everything the Democrats do. Let the nightmare of Newt Gingrich and Mitch Mc Connel be over!

These men and men like, Senators Lindsay Graham, Ted Cruz, Roy Blunt, are always on the side of big money and are the reason why our country is going down the tubes. To falsely insist on voter fraud by the Democratic Party is to undermine the freedom and democracy of the United States especially when there is zero evidence to support it.

If there was evidence of massive fraud, then fine, it would be the first time in American history, but elections officials everywhere even Republican officials are saying there is zero evidence for fraud and that it was a fair and just election. But no! Why not start a blanket of lies and confuse the American people, especially the ones who believe the overtly pathetic and ridiculous conspiracy theories and the people who are given to believe lies instead of the truth.

These opponents of the American people (known as the leaders of the Republican Party) think it’s ok to make our lives even harder than they are. Their job is to help the country, the people of The United States, not just their Corporate American pimps. The Republican leadership has been lucky that the people have been gullible, but they are terrified to see us waking up!

Small government and patriotism sound perfectly good on paper but now the voters see the collective lies and distortions behind these policies. I saw how the Republican Party opposed everything that President Obama tried to accomplish, even to get a jobs bill done in the middle of the great recession. They resolutely opposed everything that poor man tried to do to move our country forward. Was it because he was a Democrat or because you guys hated everything that is good and beneficial to all?

After watching the Trump years, I now know for sure where you guys are coming from and to whom your loyalties lie.

About Jack Jones

Jack Jones writes for Democracy Chronicles from Chicago’s south suburbs where he grew up. He is a union electrician Local 134, certified minister from Berean University, AYSO board member and coach, basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, husband, father and social participant. Jack considers himself a gourmet junk food chef, political writer, musician and likes to contribute to the world around him. A former deacon and chaplain at Cook County Jail in Chicago, he feels that our out-of-control corporate, religious and political environment is to blame for many of the problems in the world today. Jack believes we need to get money out of politics and that the church should take care of people instead of trying to get hypocrites elected to public office.

Excellent and straight to the point.
Trump loved to say “you’re fired” on his TV show. Now that he is, he’s a sore loser.

Pretty much, he was way in over his head. But I got a feeling that his reign of terror has just begun!!!!’
