Past Presidential and Vice Presidential Debate Moderators and Journalists to Discuss Campaign Coverage Following Final Debate

Journalists Candy Crowley, Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff will speak at an event hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) and the Newseum on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 7:30PM, one day after the final presidential debate and two weeks before Election Day. The three journalists, who have significant experience reporting on presidential campaigns, will offer unique insights into the 2012 election and discuss their work on the campaign trail.

Earlier this week, Crowley moderated the presidential debate at Hofstra University, making her the first woman to moderate a presidential debate in two decades. Ifill and Woodruff are the first all-female team to anchor a network’s Republican and Democratic National Convention coverage. Ifill moderated the 2004 vice presidential debate between former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Senator John Edwards and also in 2008 between Vice President Joe Biden and former Governor Sarah Palin.
