Supporters of public campaign financing say they were shut out of Senate hearing in Albany

Syracuse, N.Y. – Seven government watchdog groups filed a complaint today with New York’s Committee on Open Government charging the public was barred from a Senate hearing on campaign financing. New York State Senate officials say the room was closed only after people filled available seats.
