There is a tendency for some politically unaware people (and duplicitous politicians) to assure us that “we are lucky to be living in Britain” because we can express ourselves freely without fear of authoritarian restriction. I beg to differ.

I am fearful for the future of Britain. My fear is not caused by the government’s negative propaganda, but by the proportion of the electorate that have already been swayed by the political lies and half truths. I fear there will be no positive outcome
