Democracy Chronicles

Taking Cues From The American Oligarchy

by Jack Jones - February 20, 2023

The more the Grand Old Party (GOP)/Republican Party has become crazed with their complete obedience to their oligarch masters, the more they are driving the right winged minded fringe of American society to complete and unhinged lunacy. It’s like a marriage made in hell. They’re still worrying about gay marriage, but they could care less about the environment, public schools, or our sad state of affordable health care. This codependent illustration of vile behavior has run its course and toll on our lives and nation. The crazies have had their say, none of it makes sense and it never will.

The oligarchs are not paying their fair share of taxes and are not paying a living wage to anyone. This should not be permissible and much less be admissible to drive our lives into chaos. But it’s the bottom line of our reality and the true state of our existence because of their greed. Meanwhile they are plunging our nation into recession to correct the inflation that they created by their price gouging.

Their antics of hate and bewilderment are their main ploys of confusion to keep this economic circus going. The use of a stage master or carnival barker to distract the masses while they gain power through their political bribery and begotten tax breaks is an age-old ploy. Reagan was a master of this type of shenanigan, especially the de-regulation of corporate American regulation and laws.
These actions essentially made our country lawless to the most vile and greedy people the world has ever known. You would think the average American citizen would remember a glimpse of our recent history? But the established powers of manipulation have bored holes in our psyche, to make us believe that being tolerant, loving, and compassionate is evil and in opposition to heterosexual and Christian behavior.

We are forever in an intellectual wasteland with John Wayne riding around on a horse drinking Budweiser. The church isn’t helping to clear the air of hypocrisy because they have become slave to the pursuit of the dollar as well, and if we have this kleptocracy up and running to the tune of the oligarchs’ greedy hearts all is well in the land according to the purveyors of this descending economic and societal environment. But is it?

I believe the liars and con men at the top like to tell us what to think. But can we regain a sound mind and figure out what to think and how to look and find truth, even if it upsets our circle of influence, friends, and family. It’s time to break free from the shackles of deceit and walk in the love and freedom of honesty, and fair play, so that hopefully the possible redemption and overcoming of our country from the antics of the oligarchs, will become a present reality and we can remember again what made our nation great and the virtues of democracy that our great nation proclaimed to the world! That is, it’s our choice, our voice, and our vote, not a misrepresentation of our will or an orchestrated coup of our intellect, but a unified call and answer to freedom that blesses all involved and all who care to be named American!
