Judges are supposed to cultivate an image as impartial arbiters of the law, not as politicians beholden to politically motivated contributors to their campaign kitty. Partisan interests in the General Assembly, however, seem to prefer candidates motivated by ideology and big money. | Democracy, elections and voting
