Time is Now For Democrats to Take a Stand on Trump Crimes

I thank Democracy Chronicles for publishing my articles, so well presented and illustrated, to make it possible for me to reach a lot of people. In these Trump-times, communities need to stick together, to minimize the harm and damage that President Trump, his ruling cronies, and his Republican friends (but Democrats too) can do.

At this point, let’s hope that impeachment happens before he can do too much of that harm and damage, an impeachment resulting from more disclosures of Trump’s Russian connection and obstruction of justice. We need to realize that if the scandals become sufficiently embarrassing, then maybe the ruling families will say the word and he’ll be impeached.

In spite of the blatant conflicts of interest, and the evidence for obstruction of justice, the Democratic members of Congress still aren’t insisting on impeachment even though that’s obviously what their constituents would like, and what the evidence calls for.

So much for Democrat members of Congress being independent and beholden only to their constituents. But did the Democrat politicians ever behave as if they were independent, or as if their constituents are whom they were working for? Unfortunately, they’ve always consistently followed the ruling money, more than the wishes of their constituents.
