Undercurrents of Mitch McConnell’s call for states to file for bankruptcy

Recently, Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky) suggested states should file for bankruptcy. Who will lose out if they did and who will benefit?

Those who will be affected adversely are ordinary citizens, small businesses, vendors. The average worker whose pension will be compromised may be compelled to settle for pennies on the dollar.

This is an age-old problem. Mitch McConnel is an extremely rich career politician whose loyalties I question and his long game is looking more deviant every passing moment. Is there anything else the establishment is preparing? I only suspect that this crazy train will continue until the majority of the population will live in complete subjugation to the ruling elites.

From Reagan to Donald

Ever since Reagan, the common people of this country and their wealth have been on a downward spiral. We keep trusting politicians but this is detrimental to our well-being. We’re long past the need for protest lately. It all seems like our collective future is sealed and all we are doing is trying to remain calm for the mental health of our children.

So what are we to do? We can’t keep up with this system. Its architects behave like a herd of bulls crashing through our fragile lives. They run hellbent through society destroying, killing, and infecting all around them. Name any country. There are chances we have either overthrown a regime there or we have been at war with it or exploiting it.

The majority is letting the establishment get away with it. Our inability or unwillingness to stop it has provided a signal that they can turn on us. Do you want to know your future? It’s what the power elite is doing to the weakest among us and they will continue until we unite and do the necessary.

The Trump regime shares some similarities with the Nazi regime and it will continue its schemes until Trump is out of office. There appear to be little chances of society making things right until then. Trump’s tax break for the rich is bankrupting this country and raising our national debt.

The real fair game

I think that raising taxes for the rich is what we should instead be doing.  These people took from us first by having products made in another land on the cheap while enjoying the fruits that this country has to offer because of the taxes of the many. Also, when they hire they pay low wages.

We should be fair and share our wealth and resources instead of this stupid mentality of “its all about me”. We should not celebrate greed but call it out for what it is – a destructive power grab! That’s where we are at. Our self-absorbed leaders have sold us and our democracy out.

At present these leaders are simply keeping up with the wallets of the oligarchs instead of promoting justice and a vision for our welfare. And as concerns Mitch McConnell, I think the Congressman has failed to show leadership and it takes a great person to admit it.

Excellent article. I am against states filing bankruptcy. It will hurt the average people. I’m tired of the wealthy getting all the tax breaks. They should pay the higher tax because they have all the money.

The slide to idiocy has been getting steeper with Republicans over recent decades.
    Witness:
Start from Reagan (no intellectual giant) – as a random point, my living memory.
to G Dubya (ditto, total war deaths near 1M? by now?) Don’t “Misunderestiate”
to Sarah Palin (of all horrors – where do I start)
    to Trump
how low CAAAAN they go? What’s the nadir here, the very bottom of the well where we hear the coin splash?

And the “intellectuals” of their party? Newt Gingers – hilarious bone headed, married to an owl, Paul Ryan (close to retarded, borderline), and the boosters: the Fox’n’Friends Romper Room, Hamity, that blonde c*unt Ingrham, Jeb!,etc. etc. Its a sheltered workshop, an adult day care of the stupids.
And half our country — who believe in angels but not evolution— VOTE for these people and THAT is the REAL shame.

These people have been driving our country into confusion with their bigotry greed and hatred all the while pretending to represent a higher power much purer than their own. The hypocrisy is getting old , and I’m exhausted from the carnage! It’s sad that so much of American spirituality is so mindless and without common sense. Great to hear from you! Thanx for reading, Jack Jones
