Roseanne Barr for Green Party Presidential Nominee! (via Planetsave)

Say what?!

Roseanne Barr—yes, that Roseanne— is running for president of the United States of America, and she has now stated that she’s running for the Green Party’s nomination. “The actress-comedian said in a statement that she’s a longtime supporter of the party and looks forward to working with people who share her values,” HuffPo reports.

While Roseanne certainly isn’t an average, working-class American, she did play one on TV for a long time, and I’m sure many people consider her as such. Combining that average-American feel with Green Party progressivism could make for some pretty interesting political alliances.
