Democracy, elections, and voting

Dear potential writers,

Democracy Chronicles is rapidly expanding as an online newspaper with insightful journalistic commentary on the movement for democracy in the U.S. and around the world. We are in search of interns and volunteers with a passion for promoting democracy and election reform.

This position requires creative and insightful writing skills along with the ability to reach objective conclusions. We focus primarily on issues related to the democratic movement and free and fair elections, but welcome other relevant contributions on politics and human rights as well. Writers have an opportunity to have their original work published and read by viewers across the globe.    We have writers who are from across the political spectrum and who write on topics ranging from New York politics to Somaliland.  We will generally publish all the work our writers produce so once you are on the team we are looking for our intern writers to produce as much as possible! This position can be executed from anywhere in the world through email but it is great if you are close to our homebase in New York City.

Gracias!

Also, be sure to see his Democracy Meme Graphic image collection by visiting DC’s Flickr page. Our Political Art section is a place where democracy-themed political artists of all kinds make cartoons, poetry, design, graphic art, photography, music, video, drawings, animation, and other original art.

Democracy Chronicles is the product of a network of democracy activists and we are actively looking for creative new contributors to join our team. If you or someone you know is interested in contributing there is no better time than the present. We are expanding and we want to hear from people from all kind of backgrounds and perspectives. Republican or Democrat, in Brooklyn or Bangladesh, we are looking for people who want to get their hands dirty and join the democracy fight. Contact us to get started today.
