Fund an Election Reform Film Documentary

Democracy Chronicles is launching a crowdfunding effort that we hope you will provide enough for us to finish and distribute with the highest quality and reach. We have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to support our coming documentary, “The Design of a Broken System”, and we need all the help we can get from our friends, family, readers, democracy activists, and the community at large to successfully reach out target.

if you want me Fund an Election Reform Film

Making an election reform film based on crowdfunding takes a community that is hungry for change. If we can get proper funding to support the marketing of our documentary, “The Design of a Broken System”, its reach and impact will be amplified enormously. Production of the documentary has already begun and some really interesting footage is already in our hands that has the making of an amazing film.

Election Reform Film Films NEW HAMPSHIRE REBELLION!

We traveled to New Hampshire just this month to support Lawrence Lessig and the NHrebellion. We were joined by new DC writer Jeff Kurzon who is a candidate for the House of Representatives in NY’s 7th District. He wrote this summary of the events and we got some great footage for our upcoming documentary including an interview with the top-level campaign finance expert Lawrence Lessig from Harvard University.

Our film team was also lucky enough to be able to be film the second anniversary celebrations of Occupy Wall Street at Zucotti Park where the protest movement was first launched by a small team of dedicated citizens. We filmed some of the marching, protesting, and as much of the imaginative sloganeering and protest signs that we could. We also have amazing film of interviews with protesters and activists including a song about money in elections from a very nice guitar playing devote!

On top of this, we have interviewed some really interesting players in the drama that is national election reform. Recently we filmed a conversation with election reform advocate Ester Fuchs who is Professor of Public Affairs and Political Science and Director of the Urban and Social Policy Program at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She also served as Special Adviser to the Mayor for Governance and Strategic Planning under New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg from 2001 to 2005.

Looking Forward With DC’s Election Reform Film

Also, we have a few politicians who have signed up for interviews including Fred W. Thiele, Jr. who represents District 2 in the New York State Assembly, who completed a fascinating interview with our film team only recently. The 2nd Assembly District includes East Hampton, Southampton and the southeastern section of Brookhaven. Also, we have some surprises in store after we scored some inside access to the Green Party of the United States.

We also plan to film interviews with key people involved in the election reform community as well as everyday people who are fed up with the current system of corruption in government. Only by working together as a community can we exact the change we want. But working together means reaching across barriers and finding new ways to spread the message of democracy in America. We are hoping to get support from people like you who are interested in joining this fight.

Please donate today to our Kickstarter Campaign and support this documentary.
